Movie art
Created during World War I, this painting uses the imagery of rain-soaked American flags to evoke a mood of patriotism and reflection. It’s a part of Hassam’s Flag series, which captured the American spirit during the war https://gta-best.com/.
The true name of this painting by Rembrandt is The Shooting Company of Frans Banning Cocq and Willem van Ruytenburch. In the 19th century, art critics who discovered the painting thought that human figures were standing against a dark background, and it was called The Night Watch. Later it was discovered that a layer of soot made the painting dark, though the action actually takes place during the day. However, the painting replenished the treasury of famous art pieces under the name The Night Watch. The painting is kept in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
This painting caused a scandal when first exhibited but is now seen as a landmark in the transition from Cubism to Futurism. It defies straightforward interpretation and conventional artistic methods, embodying the restless innovation of the avant-garde.

In July 2004, for the 25th anniversary of the overthrow of Somoza, Susan returned to Nicaragua with nineteen mural-sized images of her photographs from 1978-1979, collaborating with local communities to create sites for collective memory. The project, “Reframing History,” placed murals on public walls and in open spaces in the towns, at the sites where the photographs were originally made.
The exhibition is staged to coincide with the 2014 centenary and concludes with new and recent projects by British, German, Polish and Syrian photographers which reflect on the First World War a century after it began.”
